Some People Need Whiners and Complainers Anonymous

Whiner Alert!

Okay, so I didn’t see it on my calendar, but I am pretty sure it is National Whining Day. All day long I have been seeing whiny little tweets and Facebook updates and I just want scream, “It’s NOT your LIFE… it’s YOU!”

I came across this today:

YOUR LIFE IS NOT A COINCIDENCE. IT’S A REFLECTION OF YOU!

I read it a few times and thought, wow… that is the most simple yet profound thing I have read in a while. I mean I get it… but sometimes when people are whining venting to me, I struggle with finding the right words to deliver that message.

People that rant constantly about everything in their life going wrong have serious changing to do if they want their LIVES to start going in the right direction.  It is very simple…

Life gives you back everything you say or do.

Our life is simply a reflection of our actions.

If you want more love in the world, create more love in your heart.

If you want more competence in your team, improve your competence.

This relationship applies to everything, in all aspects of life;

Life will give you back everything you have given to it.

The energy you put out into the Universe will come back to you in the people you meet, the places you go, the relationships you build and so on.  You can spend years blaming your tumultuous life on external factors, but there comes a time when you must REFLECT.  How can it be everything?  How can it be everyone else?  It must be YOU; and it will be up to YOU and only YOU to change!

Start practicing the following each and every day and observe how your energy and life begin to change for the better.

  • Be generous
  • Spread LOVE, HAPPINESS and JOY to people
  • Smile :)
  • Be OPTIMISTIC and POSITIVE
  • Speak of all that you want and affirm that it WILL come to you… and BELIEVE it
  • Begin and end each day expressing gratitude
  • Affirm your self worth daily
  • Meditate
  • Always find the silver lining
  • FORGIVE
  • Be kind

Try to stay conscious of your words. Next time you feel the urge to WHINE about something, REFLECT instead.  Try to see YOUR part in the unfavorable situation.  Own your actions. Forgive yourself. Fix the situation if possible and move on.   Complaining and blaming help nothing and no one!

If you have time to whine and complain about something then you have the time to do something about it.  ~Anthony J. D’Angelo, The College Blue Book

  1. Well said! It’s so true that we attract back to us exactly what we put out. And what’s great about this is we have the power to attract wonderful things by putting out great, positive energy and thoughts into the world. Love it! ?
