Tree of Life…

This was NOT a movie… dialogue was minimal and sporadic.  It was a two-hour poem.  A work of art. Something that should be streaming on a large screen at a museum.  Flashes of beautiful imagery. Poignant moments depicting how fragile we are. Humans.

A message well received.  A “movie” far too painfully long and choppy.  That being said… I walked away with these thoughts lingering in my head…

The incredible beauty of creation.

The magical aspect of it.

Life, how fragile.

The soul, how delicate, and easily broken.

The universe, so GRAND.

Us, so very small.

The significance of the simple things…

A good night kiss…

A hug in a time of need…

A glance that connects you…

The planting of a tree…

Blowing bubbles…

A youthful romp in the park with siblings…

A stroke of hair from a mothers calming hands…

So tender…

So overlooked…

So swiftly… IT can all be OVER…

******Watch this movie ON DVD (with cocktails or another substance of your choice), in a moment of pensiveness and contemplation of life, or not at all.
